Platinum Athletic Club believes in building a healthy community by supporting Surrey's kids, families and community services helping them get fit. Here are some of our contributes.

2010 Mayor's Charity Ball

Over the past 4 years, The Mayor's Charity Ball has raised over $750,000 in support of local charities. Proceeds from this year's even will go to the Surrey Firefighter's Charitable Society who have continuously proven their ability to make a difference in people's lives. Platinum has contributed two one year memberships valued at $1492.
Ronald McDonald House BC
23rd Annual Vancouver Invitational Golf Tournament
June 2010
The mission of Ronald McDonald House BC is to create a special home-away-from-home for families with children receiving treatment for life-threatening illnesses at BC Children's Hospital. Last year the event raised $95,000, helping over 400 families with exceptionally special children. This year Platinum has donated, to be auctioned, two one year memberships and an autographed photo of hockey legend Bobby Orr.
Sunshine Hills Elementary School
Annual Family Fun Night

The purpose of Family Fun Night is to foster community spirit and involvement. The proceeds will help fund activities and projects throughout the school year, including educational enhancement materials, library purchases, equipment upgrades and special school project funding. This year Platinum has donated a variety of items, such as towels, bags, water bottles, hats, yoga mats and balls, 3 Month Passes, and 100 VIP passes.
Queen Elizabeth Secondary School
Roots & Rhythms Charity Event
April 2010
This charity event was held by the students of Queen Elizabeth Secondary School to fundraise for Surrey Memorial Hospital and also promote multiculturalism within our community. $5000 was rased for the new Children's Emergency unit. Platinum donated 3 Monthly memberships valued at $500.

BMO Vancouver Marathon

Chris asked Platinum Athletic Club to support his Marathon run to raise funds for the Intensive Care Unit at Lions Gate Hospital. Platinum was delighted to help him train by giving him a 4 Month Membership.
Frank Hurt Secondary School
2010 Dry Grad
May 2010
Dry Grad is a school supervised alcohol and drug free party that provides students with an alternative to the less controlled parties they may attend. Grads are given prizes and gifts for attending and to commemorate their achievement. Platinum donated five 3 Month Memberships.
Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada
An Evening for MS
January 2010
The purpose of the MSSC evening was to raise money for MS research and prevention. Donated items were used as door prizes for tickets that were sold. Platinum supported with a 1 Year Membership, a 6 Month Membership, and five 1 Month Memberships.
